食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)美國(guó)食品安全新聞網(wǎng)消息,20日世貿(mào)組織裁定美國(guó)肉類原產(chǎn)國(guó)標(biāo)簽(COOL)屬于貿(mào)易保護(hù)主義,影響加拿大與墨西哥兩國(guó)肉類出口貿(mào)易,違反世貿(mào)規(guī)則。
2013年美國(guó)肉類原產(chǎn)國(guó)標(biāo)簽開(kāi)始實(shí)施。按照規(guī)定,食品店在出售肉類時(shí),需將產(chǎn)肉動(dòng)物的出生地、養(yǎng)殖地、屠宰地標(biāo)出。20日世貿(mào)組織發(fā)布報(bào)告,認(rèn)為美國(guó)的做法打擊了進(jìn)口肉類,保護(hù)了美國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)的肉類產(chǎn)品。

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has ruled in favor of Canada and Mexico in an ongoing dispute with the United States over country-of-origin labeling (COOL) on meat.
The latest U.S. labeling rules, put into effect in 2013, require meat sold in grocery stores to indicate the country, or countries, where the animal was born, raised and slaughtered.
