食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)美國食品安全新聞網(wǎng)消息,21日美國華盛頓特區(qū)巡回法院做出裁決認(rèn)為,新禽類監(jiān)管體系(NPIS)不會(huì)增加食源性疾病風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。此舉為NPIS的實(shí)施鋪平道路。美國農(nóng)業(yè)部食品安全局(FSIS)認(rèn)為,實(shí)施NPIS后,每年將可減少5000例沙門氏菌、彎曲桿菌相關(guān)的食源性疾病。NPIS是自艾森豪威爾執(zhí)政時(shí)期以來,美國禽類監(jiān)管史上最大的一次變革。

Enlistments in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's New Poultry Inspection System (NPIS) will likely increase in the new year after the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Dec. 21 tossed a legal challenge to the program.
The optional NPIS offers the biggest change in poultry inspection since the Eisenhower Administration. USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) says NPIS will prevent nearly 5,000 Salmonella and Campylobacter foodborne illnesses each year.
