食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)歐盟食品安全局消息,10月9日歐盟食品安全局就擴大新型食品配料-富DHA與EPA的裂殖壺菌海藻油的每日攝入劑量發(fā)布了意見。
應歐委會請求,歐盟食品安全局專家組就擴大這種新型食品配料的使用劑量發(fā)布了意見。經(jīng)過評估歐盟食品安全局認為,當這種新型食品配料當中EPA和DHA的每日攝入量總和不超過5g 時不會對成人構(gòu)成安全風險。

Following a request from the European Commission, the EFSA Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies (NDA) was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on an extension of use for docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)-rich algal oil from Schizochytrium sp. as a novel food ingredient (NFI) in the context of Regulation (EC) No 258/97. The NFI is already authorised for use in a range of foodstuffs at specified maximum levels.
In a previous opinion on the Tolerable Upper Intake Level of EPA, DHA and docosapentaenoic acid (DPA), the Panel concluded that supplemental intake of EPA and DHA combined at doses up to 5 g/day, does not give rise to safety concerns for adults.
