食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊   據(jù)美國食品安全新聞網(wǎng)消息，自6月美國亞特蘭大州首次發(fā)現(xiàn)環(huán)孢子蟲病以來，環(huán)孢子蟲疫情在美國迅速蔓延，目前已擴(kuò)大至20個(gè)州，近600人患病。

    美國FDA與州流行病學(xué)專家分別對(duì)疫情展開了調(diào)查，調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn)墨西哥泰勒農(nóng)場與兩個(gè)州的疫情相關(guān)聯(lián)。其他州的疫情是否也與此有關(guān)有待進(jìn)一步調(diào)查。目前尚無死亡病例。

    In the 52 days since the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention （CDC） in Atlanta first announced an outbreak of the single-celled parasite known as Cyclospora cayetanesis.

    But the question that remains unanswered in 8th week of the outbreak asked by the CDC itself is:  "…whether this conclusion applies to, or helps explain, the increase in ill persons with cyclosporiasis in other states."   In other words, CDC and the states involved are officially stumped, but the investigation continues and so do the case count updates.  It is not yet clear whether health officials are dealing with one big outbreak or several smaller ones.
