食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)外媒報(bào)道,澳大利亞昆士蘭政府日前啟動(dòng)一項(xiàng)雜草調(diào)查研究計(jì)劃,研究侵略性雜草對(duì)昆州的影響以及探討防止雜草蔓延的管理措施。
據(jù)了解,農(nóng)業(yè)和環(huán)境委員會(huì)已選定3種野草作為研究目標(biāo),它們分別為鼠尾草、刺槐以及雜草(Fireweed)。同時(shí)他們還對(duì)影響農(nóng)地的其它雜草進(jìn)行研究。
澳調(diào)查委員會(huì)副主席Tony Perrett表示,調(diào)查的重點(diǎn)在于研究政府的雜草管理計(jì)劃的有效性。他表示,身為一個(gè)代表兼農(nóng)場(chǎng)主,明白很多地主正在關(guān)注昆州雜草的問(wèn)題。它不但開(kāi)始在經(jīng)濟(jì)上影響了盈利也影響了農(nóng)業(yè)產(chǎn)值。啟動(dòng)的調(diào)查將廣泛地探索控制侵略性雜草的方法。

The Agriculture and Environment Committee has nominated three weeds as case studies - Giant Rat's Tail Grass, Prickly Acacia and Fireweed — but will also look at any other plants causing concerns for landholders.
Committee Deputy Chair Tony Perrett said the inquiry would focus heavily on the effectiveness of government weed-control programs.
“Certainly as an elected representative and as a grazier myself I understand the concern of many many landholders right across Queensland that invasive plants are certainly something that's not only starting to have an economic impact on the profitability of properties but certainly on the values as well.
