食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)外媒報道,澳大利亞最大的家禽供應(yīng)商之一百亞達(dá)公司(Baiada)被爆克扣華人員工(大量來自大陸和臺灣)工資,已答應(yīng)拿出50萬澳元,補(bǔ)發(fā)所有少發(fā)的薪水。調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn)一些從中國大陸和臺灣來的員工每日工作達(dá)19個小時,卻只獲得11.5澳元的廉價時薪。
據(jù)報道,百亞達(dá)公司是Woolworths和Coles兩家大型超市的最大雞肉供應(yīng)商之一。在經(jīng)調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn)該公司的承包商嚴(yán)重剝削員工,他們每日工作19個小時,但得到的工資僅是澳大利亞最低時薪的一半。目前百亞達(dá)公司已拿出50萬澳元處理此問題。
