食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)外媒報(bào)道,澳大利亞競(jìng)爭(zhēng)和消費(fèi)者委員會(huì)(ACCC)已向聯(lián)邦法庭發(fā)起訴訟,狀告超市巨頭沃爾沃斯(Woolworths)違反有關(guān)法律,壓榨供應(yīng)商。
澳大利亞競(jìng)消委指控這家連鎖超市商為了降低其半年盈利缺口,而對(duì)供應(yīng)商采取不合情理的行為。
據(jù)報(bào)道,去年11月Woolworths公司高層為解決5000萬(wàn)澳元的盈利缺口,公司智囊團(tuán)隊(duì)“價(jià)格和貿(mào)易投資組”提出了一個(gè)叫做“注意差價(jià)” (Mind the Gap)的活動(dòng),想從供應(yīng)商那里獲得6020萬(wàn)澳元的利潤(rùn)。該行為違反了澳大利亞消費(fèi)者法(Australian Consumer Law)。

The competition watchdog has launched legal action against supermarket giant Woolworths for unconscionable conduct over its dealings with suppliers to urgently reduce its half year profit shortfall after discovering a $50 million hole in its books.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission instituted proceedings in the Federal Court alleging Woolworths acted in contravention of the Australian Consumer Law to eke $18.1 million from its suppliers.
