據(jù)報(bào)道,麥考伊(Rhonda McCoy)上月死于克雅二氏癥(Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease)。她離世前,被克雅二氏癥折磨了十天。周二,一名男子被確診患上同樣的病癥并且時(shí)日不多。
克雅二氏病是傳染性海綿狀腦病或朊粒病的一種,會(huì)感染患者的大腦。瘋牛病也是傳染性海綿狀腦病的一種,是人類(lèi)克雅二氏病的“變體”。
